I often think of our Yoga Practice as a simulation of our everyday life. So our ability to breathe through a flow, stay present in the moment, and venture just outside of our comfort zones, give us some insight to our journeys off the mat. This is the Life Practice.

Elle was first introduced to yoga while completing her undergraduate degree at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and discovered that a steady Yoga practice makes for happier people. In 2012 she joined Yoga Vida for their 200 hour Teacher Training. She has since completed an advanced training with Laughing Lotus under her beloved teacher Dana Flynn, as well as mentorships with Mary Dana Abbott, Francesca Bove, and Katonah Yoga. She also has a certification in mat Pilates through Equinox. She has also completed The Happiness Studies Academy course with Tal Ben-Shahar. Elle believes that the purpose of the Yoga practice is to give us insight to our Life practice, to help us be kinder people, and to cultivate more joy in our lives.
